It is an interesting news – last week, in a Q&A in Ireland, McGregor stated he was interested in facing the winner of the UFC 216 main event which has put an added significance to the fight. Instead of defending the championship, McGregor entered the world of boxing, losing to Floyd Mayweather by 10th round TKO in August. Lee initially weighed 156 pounds; per the NSAC, he had one hour, beginning at 2:15 p.m. ET, to lose one pound after being cleared by a doctor to do so. Lentz was pulled from the card due to “medical issues,” and the bout was canceled.
